This November, we're celebrating five years of big ideas, fruitful collaborations and industry-defining innovations from our flagship Irish hub on Pearse St. This is a celebration of the incredible teams, leaders and people that have come on the journey with us. It has been a privilege to celebrate the highs and an honour to support you in navigating the lows.

When we started out in Ireland five years ago, we wanted to create a space where some of the world's most exciting high-growth tech companies could share learnings, expand their networks and build a vibrant culture for their teams. Since then, we have supported over 200 teams on their growth journey. Current members include renowned FinTech challenger Starling Bank, and Irish tech legends Tines, NewsWhip and Kinzen. We're also supported by an incredible network of ambassadors, including Dee Coakley, Pete Townsend and Edel Coen.

Over the last five years, we've been the architects behind connection in Dublin. Creating collaborative spaces for bold minds to come together and brave ideas to flourish. This is a role we take very seriously. We believe now more than ever that workspaces like ours should be places of intent and gathering, measured by the opportunities created, not by the number of hours used. The future of work is going to look less like individual businesses slogging it out and more like ecosystems of talent coming together intentionally, solving problems, sharing knowledge and making collective impact.

With half a decade under our belts, we're taking a look back at some of the incredible wins made by our community and looking ahead to the future with optimism as we navigate this ever-changing world together.

2017 -

We open our doors at the iconic Academy building in November 2017, with 3 stellar founding members: Silicon Valley Bank, Kontainers and Datadog. The Academy has long been a fixture of Dublin’s innovation scene. Frequented by luminaries WB Yeats and James Joyce in the 1800s and transformed into Twitter’s EMEA headquarters in the 2000s. The budding Huckletree community of ambitious international leaders reignited it’s innovative spirit.

2018 -

We reach full occupancy by March 2018!

Alpha Programme launches in Ireland for the first time, supporting underrepresented founders in Dublin. Frontline x Huckletree Summer Party brought together leaders in the tech ecosystem in Dublin on our rooftop. And, Fairer Funding Now event held at Huckletree featured a panel of industry leaders from VC / startups discussing the importance of backing women founders - incl. Elkstone, Frontline Ventures, Soapbox Labs. This year embodied our mission to support home-grown innovation and bringing brilliant minds together.

2019 -

The Huckletree D2 community proves itself as a great launchpad for US companies as founding member Datadog became the fourth cloud software company to debut this year and reach a $10 billion valuation. Our Braver Together campaign hits the streets of Dublin, featuring Dublin members and ambassadors including Edel Coen, Head of Deal Flow at Molten VC.

2020 - 2021 -

The pandemic hits, but innovation never sleeps. Founding member Kontainers were acquired by Descartes! In 2021, some incredible new members joined the D2 community, including Tines, Project Foundry, and Social Talent.

2022 -

Tines raise a colossal $55m as part of an extended Series-B. Kinzen is acquired by Spotify. We continue to strengthen our pioneering ambassador community in Ireland with latest ambassadors Dee Coakley (Co-Founder and CEO of Boundless), Pete Townsend (Managing Director at Techstars and early-stage startup advisor), Aimee Louise Carton (Director, Concentrix). Great new members join, including NewsWhip, Genesis, and Axonista. Huckletree West London members, Butternut Box, launch their Ireland operations, and Techstars host first Irish accelerator at Huckletree with a focus on Web 3.0..
